The Start2Finish Running and Reading Club is an innovative and fun after school program that effectively supports children from grades 1 to 6 with opportunity for physical activity, literacy, and mentorship among.  The program targets elementary school aged children, operating directly within city schools once per week for 2 hours.

Start2Finish Running and Reading Club mentors have a significant role to encourage students on a weekly basis for positive change physically, mentally and emotionally through fitness and literacy. Mentors help to build confidence and motivate students to achieve success, stay in school, and build lasting friendships with peers and mentors.

Activities include:

  • Fitness games
  • Reading with children
  • Story time
  • Help with snack

Dates and Times
