Description

  • Work collaboratively with your CCS staff partner and Relay For Life Event Chair to recruit team captains and participants for the 2018 Hamilton Relay For Life event.
  • Leverage your personal and professional networks to identify Relay For Life leads within the corporate and business community and share those leads with your CCS staff partner.
  • Plan and execute corporate recruitment events such as lunch and learns, CEO challenges, etc.
  • Attend corporate events to serve as an ambassador for the Canadian Cancer Society and Relay For Life with the objective of team and participant recruitment.
  • Contact team captains and participants from previous year’s event and encourage them to register for this year.
  • Together with your CCS staff partner you will monitor and evaluate your progress in achieving the corporate team captain and participant recruitment targets and goals (this role will have a personal goal of recruiting 20 new teams).
  • Provide weekly updates to committee members and staff partners.
  • Register yourself as a Relay For Life participant (must register upon signing the agreement).
  • Reach your personal fundraising goal.
  • Recruit your own Relay For Life team or at least 1 additional Relay For Life team.
  • Promote online registration, fundraising, and other online features.
  • Serve as an ambassador for the Canadian Cancer Society and Relay For Life.
  • Adhere to the Relay For Life Committee Mandate and to all Canadian Cancer Society policies, procedures, standards and guidelines.
