The Day of Caring program is a one-day opportunity for community groups, organizations, schools, churches and service clubs to donate their time to Good Shepherd programs and services. Jobs for that day include; sorting donations, serving food, working in the warehouse or working on special event programs.

Volunteer Opportunity Description:

A Thyme4Dinner volunteer will prepare a meal for the families staying at the House. After a long, stressful day at the hospital, a home cooked meal is very appreciated by all of our families. Groups or individuals prepare a meal for approximately 20 – 25 individuals, either in our kitchen or theirs. We often have house food available for use or volunteers supply the items needed for their meal.

Group Volunteer Opportunity Description:
We are in great need of blood donors in the Hamilton area.  We are looking for champion volunteers who would like to organize a group donation for their organization, church, family or community group.  We will provide you with eligibility and promotional information and transportation if needed.  For larger groups we would be happy to arrange a speaker to come out and talk to your group.

Our main clinic is located at 35 Stone Church Rd, Ancaster (Corner of Golf Links and Stone Church Rd).  We also have clinics in Binbrook, Dundas, Stoney Creek and downtown Hamilton.

Tuesday 8am – 12pm
Wednesday 4pm – 8pm
Thursday 8am – 12pm
Saturday 8am – 1pm
