Group Volunteer Opportunity Description: Ronald McDonald House Charities South Central Ontario provides a home away from home for families of children who are seriously ill and being treated at nearby hospitals.

We are seeking assistance from group volunteers to help maintain our beautiful gardens for families to enjoy while they stay at the House. Tasks include weeding, clipping hedges, pruning plants and sweeping the sidewalks in our garden areas.

This is a fun opportunity for team building.

A flexible schedule is available. Groups may come in any day of the week and may select any time that best suits their schedule.

Volunteer Opportunity Description:

A Thyme4Dinner volunteer will prepare a meal for the families staying at the House. After a long, stressful day at the hospital, a home cooked meal is very appreciated by all of our families. Groups or individuals prepare a meal for approximately 20 – 25 individuals, either in our kitchen or theirs. We often have house food available for use or volunteers supply the items needed for their meal.

Group Volunteer Opportunity Description:
We are in great need of blood donors in the Hamilton area.  We are looking for champion volunteers who would like to organize a group donation for their organization, church, family or community group.  We will provide you with eligibility and promotional information and transportation if needed.  For larger groups we would be happy to arrange a speaker to come out and talk to your group.

Our main clinic is located at 35 Stone Church Rd, Ancaster (Corner of Golf Links and Stone Church Rd).  We also have clinics in Binbrook, Dundas, Stoney Creek and downtown Hamilton.
